Well tt was it for my absolute life as an officer cadet ytd with the end of the commissioning ball. Wasn't a particularly good timing due to my role in the ops but can't really be helped. But was alr rather lucky tt I got to go for it altho my shift was the worst for the comms ball. And I was a little bogged down by some stuff tt had to be settled during the event itself as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself over there, getting a single last chance for the whole 48th FAOCC to gather and ya sorta come back tgt cos we all know tt it'd be near impossible to gather each and every of the 103 officers back once again. The entertainment and all put forth and sourced out by the committee was certainly commendable as they were rather engaging and happening heh. One glaring flaw was the theme which got us to wear the masks they initially prepared. I honestly felt tt it wasn't quite nice la but other than tt, the videos and pics shown were really cool and ya...flashback of the times we had spent tgt for the past 6 mth, not withstanding our clm and service term.
Looking back on the first day of my days as an officer cadet when I stepped into golf wing, I can see the stark contrast btw "me now" and "me then" the motivation for me to commission changed drastically thru the 9 mth of OCS and ya...my thots and feelings have certainly matured once again and well, after the comms ball I realised some things just nv change heh ;) while some things certainly change. In my case I guess it was just a half and half thingy, which turned out just fine for me :) freed from my own personal shackles put on by myself, I guess I'm pretty happy rite now haha. Oh well v soon gotta go back for ops le, wonder wad's up for me rite after tt and wad's gonna become of me ya...
