Hm...the break after the ops was really well needed by all of us. It's quite tiring and requires high concentration from us. But it's good tt we got a well deserved break.
Well I've been thrown to become the S2 something I preferred compared to DyS3 which Shawn Tan is the one but I've gotta help in anyways lol.
Heh...anyway met up with most of the syn up guys on sat ya...quite nice ya haha...then after hung out with joe and yu lun...had some "realisation" aft tt but it's all ts wahaha...figure out wad's ts man.
And I also sent my brazil jersey to be printed tt day, in which I had to collect today. I was super duper thankful I managed to get the old font for Kaka' man. Damn lucky. I was almost expecting it to be the new one with number 7 zzz...well tink I got lucky there. Had somewhat of a coincidence when I went thru the tpy control station cos I went thru the 07 machine with $7.77 on my ez link. Was like super surprised. Looks like it really was lucky 7 for me :) well tt jersey has a special meaning for me ya sort of a memory too heh. Yep yep spent quite a bit on it tho I got it at a cheaper rate le cos the jersey was gotten separate from a sale tt time at kallang. I'm so lucky man =)
Oh yes and Torres strikes again to down Everton in the Merseyside derby!!

Well tt was it for my absolute life as an officer cadet ytd with the end of the commissioning ball. Wasn't a particularly good timing due to my role in the ops but can't really be helped. But was alr rather lucky tt I got to go for it altho my shift was the worst for the comms ball. And I was a little bogged down by some stuff tt had to be settled during the event itself as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed myself over there, getting a single last chance for the whole 48th FAOCC to gather and ya sorta come back tgt cos we all know tt it'd be near impossible to gather each and every of the 103 officers back once again. The entertainment and all put forth and sourced out by the committee was certainly commendable as they were rather engaging and happening heh. One glaring flaw was the theme which got us to wear the masks they initially prepared. I honestly felt tt it wasn't quite nice la but other than tt, the videos and pics shown were really cool and ya...flashback of the times we had spent tgt for the past 6 mth, not withstanding our clm and service term.
Looking back on the first day of my days as an officer cadet when I stepped into golf wing, I can see the stark contrast btw "me now" and "me then" the motivation for me to commission changed drastically thru the 9 mth of OCS and ya...my thots and feelings have certainly matured once again and well, after the comms ball I realised some things just nv change heh ;) while some things certainly change. In my case I guess it was just a half and half thingy, which turned out just fine for me :) freed from my own personal shackles put on by myself, I guess I'm pretty happy rite now haha. Oh well v soon gotta go back for ops le, wonder wad's up for me rite after tt and wad's gonna become of me ya...

Yeah...headed for nus openhouse today, seems pretty much the same as the previous times I came or was involved in somehow heh. A real pity was tt my previous colleagues from CDC in NUS business school had alr left or went to other admin sections of the school. Yea, quite sad tt I wasn't really able to meet them but I was really lucky to see kevin ya, well did give him the snacks I bought for everyone tho.
This trip was certainly more fruitful than previous visits as I sorta took a more serious approach and I had an idea and objectives tt I wanted to achieve by going. I also had more time to do wad I wanted without rushing. I did wad I wanted to do there in the end ya..I guess I was pretty much impressed by the hall life there but it's quite ex really and it'd be an issue to sorta select whichever one. If I don't get any scholarship I guess it'll be harder for me...and also more or less decided on science ba...no other courses tt really appeal to me or maybe I haven't looked hard enuff. Maybe business or chem/bioengine are options but the latter prob not tho.
Oh well since all's like tt le just left to see how I'm gonna finish my ns lo, and the beginning alr not gonna be easy haha...something totally alien to me but it's all part of a learning journey no? Gotta pull my socks up and cont working hard haha.

Well...changed my blog skin at last...have been trying to find a nice one and this is pretty cool alr esp with the LFC stuff ard lol.
It's been a long and arduous 38 weeks of training which started out on 25 June 2007 and just ended on 15 March 2008. I certainly went thru tough and testing times with my Golf wing sect in CLM during leadership field camp and the screwings we got form my sect instructor haha. And to my Sierra plt 3 in section, patrol and plt field camps in Service Term. Pro term in AI is equally unforgettable haha, had a really great buddy in Zhan You and a superb Yankee syndicate 2(Up) =) really damn zai, altho we did suffer quite a bit initially, it all turned well and we pressed thru all the lect and stuff, learning all the FD and R&S stuff, not to mention Liaison in Milo till the summary in Safari. Liaison taught me so much intangible things like leadership and how to relate to others even thru observation alone. The planning in Firetracker and fierce Firestrike left quite a memory in me too. Battleking itself was just phenomenon, did wad we nv felt we shd and cld in the route march after 7 days of grueling live firing. Back in joint term, back in Sierra wing and back in Yankee 2, really seemed to be such a great summary of my life in OCS. The places we went and the parade rehearsals esp, were not wasted. Not a single bit. Despite training in the rain as "Navy Seals" for 2 weeks plus, we managed to perform on the "land" due to fine weather tt nv really rained except for a small, short drizzle. Was really lucky and blessed by showers of blessing heh.
It was really nice to see ppl ard the parade square at the end like shing and liwei. I was super surprised to see Karunan man!! My bmt buddy lol...sorta missed him cos we nv really had a lot of time as he ooc-ed quite early due to his arm. Really glad to see him man haha. Saw familiar faces here and there and taking of photos with many ppl was also quite fun heh. The tossing of peak caps was just zoom, and here we are commissioned. So much emotions coming thru me, really felt tt all my efforts put in the past 38 weeks was nv wasted.
It's certainly an extremely special day for the 68/07 OCC as we all commissioned as 2LT on this fateful day.

Well technically last week was a fruitful week heh. Had plenty of parade rehearsals and ACPC rehearsals. ACPC itself was on friday, yeah it quite coincidentally fell on my bdae. Like wad boon kiak said la, it's momentous to receive a sword for your bdae haha but different sia he SoM leh, I SoP nia lol.
But it was really nice to rcv msgs and encouragements from my frens ya...and really ah...rcv a Liverpool away jersey for my bdae!! Unbelievable man...yeah from Yankee 2, syn up heh. Really quite paiseh to get it cos it's like damn ex sia...but I'm sure my buddy zhanyou played a big big part in it yea...really feel quite bad since it's so ex. Yea joel kidded and told me tt it costs $200 cos it was imported but to me, it's really priceless cos it's from a bunch of closely knitted frens who really care for each other. It's really something special and the thought in it as well.
ACPC itself was too long and draggy, really made us damn shack. Presentation of swords is understandable but the dining in was so long the food became super cold.
Next week will be damn long cos of the daily parade rehearsals and I tink got 2 or 3 days is full day de. Jia lat but we still have room for improvement tho. Hopefully will be v cool weather the next week esp on sat ah...just like the previous week.

Yet another week has passed haha...abt one week left to ACPC and two more till commissioning yep. Gonna rcv the sword on this coming friday, gonna be something significant to us and of course the fine dining we're gonna have lol bet it's gonna be some cheapskate shit.
Last week has been plenty and plenty of visits for us, really an eye opener on some stuff we saw ya. The estab of guards bn was certainly made clearer to us after the visit of bedok camp. The air force was pretty cool too, had plenty of interesting stuff ard. I also learnt a lot more abt the history of Singapore's loss to Japan in WW2 with the various lectures conducted and also the visit to the pasir panjang thingy called bukit chandu...really saw quite some stuff I nv really knew yep.
Beginning of the comms parade rehearsal wasn't bad...I feel our statics are quite there but marching certainly far more to be desired and my damn wrists just cui-ed after half a day of training nia zzz, today's one was still alright thx to the wet weather prog. Hope they can last till the parade itself man cos today went back to the chi phy. They're pretty fine doing normal stuff but sometimes my hands feel quite weak after prolong usage and damn pain during drills ah...anyway had plenty of needles poked into my wrists lol...one left one my right while my left was being attended to. Quite fierce ah but interesting in tt no blood spurted out at all haha...got the suction thingy also...something new compared to the previous times I visited hm...
