Goodness...morning was watching the Luton vs Liverpool game...an entertaining game that was. Exciting too ya...Liverpool played real badly in the first half but the set up play for Gerrard's goal was superb and so was his finish that swerved past the Luton keeper. Excellent. However, Luton was playing very, very well, and they managed to grab two goals in the first half...due to poor defending on Liverpool's part...terrible defending...haven't been this bad for a long time.
Early in 2nd half, pool got an early penalty as Gerrard was fouled but Cisse missed it...wasn't well taken. The next moment dono which guy was thru on goal and Carson was deemed to have fouled that clown la...but he didn't...cos the clown stepped on Carson's boot and dived...idiot sia...and their penalty was converted 3-1. Soon, Pongolle came on and he latched onto a Gerrard thru ball and scored...3-2. After that, Alonso gave a dipping shot from 30 yards and managed to catch the keeper off his line and scored a great equaliser. After that, Finnan gave a pin-point cross from the right and Pongolle sent in a wonderful header into the top corner of the Luton net 4-3 and Liverpool have made it 3 goals in 11 min to stage a magnificent comeback. In stoppage time, Luton had a corner and their keeper came up for it...too bad for them, dear Alonso got the ball and fired a 60 yarder into the net with his left foot, a goal further than Beckham's famous one against Wimbledon...absolutely brilliant...=) great game, didn't stay up or nothing.
