Wow...wad a week. Singapore got an Olympics silver medal for the first time since 1960 with the ladies table tennis team. Although some ppl say it's a "China" team, but I feel they still represent the heart and soul for Singapore, doing so well and putting up a sustained battle against China, the uber imba team lol. They're really damn good. Though we did have good rallies against them, but still, we did exceptionally well to get into the Final by beating Korea in a ahard fought battle ya. Well done Team Singapore, you did us proud man haha.
Honestly I doubt we can get any other medal unless our female paddlers raise their game and play well in the table tennis individual. Tao Li did well for swimming too haha. As for the Olympics, looking forward to the Brazil vs Argentina Semifinals man. Hopefully will be able to catch it in camp if possible. It'll certainly be a great game.
Today morn's pool game wasn't the greatest of all games but we managed to sneak a win with a moment of brilliance from Fernando Torres. No surprise from a player of his calibre. He's absolutely astonishing, having been quiet throughout the whole game, he gave a great strike from outside the area. Stunning goal indeed, rocking the goalpost heh. Well, nothing much to say man. Torres the man.
