The past 4 days of orientation had been wonderful, of course there's the ups and downs but generally it was really brilliant. We had lotsa fun cheering, mass dancing and playing the games yeah.
Fun as it was, there were blips about the programme and stuff of course. Felt that games focuses too much on leagues, and many people are like left out of the games la, even though got people go stage perform and everything. Only enthu people will play la and others will just sit down and stone. Another thing that had been mentioned liao is the ogls ya...not that doing ogl cheer and stuff is no good but it does leave year 1s out although some of them don't really mind...yep but I'm happy to see the ogls united heh. One more is the VS contingent haha...ya la cheer cheer a bit I'm all for it la but excessive cheering just irritates others and drags the programme, which is bad. I did join in for the first cheer haha but well...the year 1s just overdid things la...not being biased here but I think it shows great passion and bond towards your sec school and I also quite pleased to see other sec schools do their own cheers haha...but taunting them is a bad thing to do cos it just like spurs them on to do even more ya...esp when you are really loyal to your school.
Heh well...cam't really think of other real major stuff la but well it was just great.
On Fri was like dio dunk with Kendrick to earn our respective ogs 1000 pt haha...quite fun though...but the fountain quite sick ah...got some algae inside i guess...lol but Icis just rocks la!! Boom boom is just damn cool heh. Although in the end we still 4th, but well most impt is that we enjoy everything that we did =) Oh ya...last cheer we did was the waddle remix with boom boom heh...when did that time everyone all boo us mwahahz, then later boom boom come out damn fun.
Ya...went Suntec for mass dance ah...was damn high haha...shiok but was late la thanks to Bobs, Linus and Shaun la...stupid sia eat what claypot haha but well...had a good time there but our spirits was dampened cos a lot of people ran down inside the fountain play and stuff la...I'm pretty certain there would be public complaints and stuff liddat ya...sure dio scolded by Mrs Chan la. Hope no one complains to press or have anything as serious as that.
Looking forward to sea regatta on Monday yeah...but can't enjoy as much fun cos I'm station master for tug of war argh...wanna be with my og and have all the fun but well...not everything can always go your way...so...just have fun haha =)
