Yesterday was Hockey finals for both guys and girls team at Delta sports complex. Early morning I damn pissed liao cos majority of the class didn't want to go except for a few...was so damn angry lo...there were those who were unable to go ya...couldn't help it...maybe cos mainly 2nd intake la so not many really have passion for the college.
Anyway...the atmosphere at Delta was splendid. The girls team won 1-0...quite an even match la but I also don't really understand hockey rules lol...but I do recognise a goal though haha. It was a tough game I'd say...VJ hockey girls national champions!! The hockey girls had not conceded even a goal in the whole tournament...really commendable.
As for the guys game, I felt we were rather dominant and we deserved a victory. But we lost 2-0, quite unlucky la...the ball is round...but the spirit of Victorians at the stadium was fantastic despite us losing. We kept chanting 'We are the champions'. In the eyes of others we may be arrogant and everything else but in our eyes, the hockey boys were our true champions. They put up a great fight, and despite all odds, fought bravely into the finals being the underdogs. They are really heroes.
That marked the end of the sports season, or at least most of them. It was cool to see the VJ teams doing well in many of the games. Really cool.
